Amazing experience from start to finish. Host and local guide were to-notch and went above and beyond to ensure all travelers were comfortable, informed, and safe. Worthy of more than 5 stars!

This was my third trip with Sidequests and once again the trip exceeded my expectations. Colombia was truly magical but what is always the highlight of these trips are the people. The community that is created through these trips is so very special. Anyone who is even considering taking a trip with Sidequests should stop thinking and book the trip!

Out in Colombia was an amazing organization to partner with. They provided so much laughter, education, support and joy. The schedule and activities were amazing. Would have maybe liked to see a bit less boat time. Compared to Thailand, I felt like there was less group cohesion and side quest did significantly leas to try and build that community and cohesion. This time around side quest felt more corporate than grass root.

This was my second trip with SideQuests Travel and I was completely blown away! I was super excited to visit a new country, and couldn't wait to immerse myself in Colombia's rich culture, culinary scene and its people. Medellin and Cartagena were both extraordinary destinations, and I loved how different they were. They gave our group different perspectives and offered opportunities to witness and enjoy an array of experiences. Speaking of our group, that's what really made this trip sparkle. Tbh, before Colombia, I didn't have any LGBTQIA+ friends back home - not by choice, just didn't happen. Following the trip, I can honestly say I have made a number of new friends within my community, and am so grateful for the adventures, intimate moments, chats, and laughter, we shared together. To Michael and Matt, thank you for creating something so special. I am so proud of you! Counting down the days until Italy in September! XOXO, Bryan L.

We had a fantastic trip. We were certainly nervous because with a group of 24 strangers, you never know how things will turn out. But the group gelled together so well...I think this was largely due to the fun, community tone that Matthew and Michael established from the outset of the trip. I really liked the split itinerary between Medellin and Cartagena - two cities with very different vibes. We got the food and culture experience in Medellin and the sun and sand experience in Cartagena. The local Colombia guides from OUT in Colombia were absolutely incredible - so friendly and really worked hard to take care of everyone. The hotels choices were quite good - as with anything, there are tradeoffs. The hotel in Medellin had quite small rooms but a really great restaurant for morning breakfast and a lovely rooftop pool area. The hotel in Cartagena was not quite as good for breakfast (it was fine) but it was in a great location and had an incredible rooftop bar and pool - the rooms were also a nice size (more what you'd expect in a US hotel). There was a HUGE range of activities through the week - from coffee tasting tours to drag shows to boat dance parties to a private beach/pool day, lots of incredible food. And even though there were a couple of open evenings with no plans, the group generally still got together to spend time together. It's always a great sign when people have the option to do their own thing but still want to hang out with the group. Truly special. We will DEFINITELY go back to Colombia based on our experience with this trip. Thank you Matthew and Michael for organizing such a special and memorable trip for everyone!
